Did you know that someone is in love with you? Yes, it is true. God, the creator, loves you so much and he has a wonderful plan for your life. That is because He created you for a purpose. If you ever discover the purpose and live according to it, your life will be totally different. To find the purpose, you must first find a bridge that can undo the separation between you and your creator. The bridge is JESUS.
Originally all humanity was tainted by sin and sin is the reason for the separation from God. However, God loved us so much that He sent His only begotten son Jesus to us. Thus, Jesus became a man like us in order to die for you. By dying on the cross, He washed away all your sins because He died in your place with your sins on His shoulder.
The Bible says that whoever believes in Jesus and in what His death does for us will be saved from eternal punishment, the fiery hell, and will become God’s child. We call this a Christian. Jesus is God’s only provision for our sin. For this reason, attempting to deal with our life and our sins outside of Jesus will be futile. Through Jesus, we can have our sins forgiven and restore a right relationship with God.
However, this blessing is not automatic. You must make a decision. You must decide to turn away from your old life; put down anything you depended upon instead of God; and place your faith in Jesus Christ as your Savior and your Lord. This is the only way for you to receive the gift of salvation and to know God’s wonderful plan for your life.
If you want to believe in Jesus Christ as your Savior, say the following words to God in your personal prayer. Saying these words will not save you, but putting your faith in Christ will! This prayer is simply a way to express to God your faith in Jesus and thank Him for providing for your salvation.
“God, I know that I have sinned against you and deserve eternal punishment. But Jesus Christ took the punishment that I deserve so that through faith in Him I could be forgiven. I turn away from my sin and place my trust in You for salvation. Thank you for your wonderful grace and forgiveness, the gift of eternal life. Amen!”
